Sexy bike shoot – photo & video production by GRAND VISIONS
We produced professional photos and videos of high-quality bicycles for the new VGH bicycle insurance campaign. And we have to admit: It has rarely been so much fun to stage an everyday object in the studio as much as with this photo and video production.
But the video shoot was definitely so much fun because there was a fantastic team behind everything. With Axel and Hendrik from the “CREATIVTEAM” agency, we had both professional and friendly contacts before, during and after the shooting days.
In total, we photographed four different types of bike from top to bottom: a racing bike, an e-bike, a cargo bike and a mountain bike (- so every bike lover's heart should have skipped a beat at least once). We created video and photo recordings of all four bikes in (mostly) the same setting: A plain blue background in our all-around darkened studio and deliberately used light to highlight the edges and special details and create a design-driven, sexy look. We owe the smooth camera movements to our Edelkrone slider and the lighting effects were created by coordinated, manual movement of our LED panel.
It was with a heavy heart that we returned these wonderful bikes to the retailers at the end of the shooting days. Even though we definitely fell in love with the bikes, the bike insurance didn't have to get involved with this production.
